Napoleonic Cost Chart Help

This form will let you create a buying list for a "WRG"-style Napolonic-era campaign game.

To use the chart, enter the starting number of tax points in your exchequer or warchest in the appropriate text box.

Next, use the "buy or field" controls to select whether you want to buy or field an item, then select the number and type of item, the morale grade (if applicable), and any special training (if applicable).

When you are satisfied, click the "Add" button.

The specified number of items will then appear in the text area at the bottom of the form, along with its total cost.

When you have bought all the items you want, click the "Summarize" button. You will then get a summary at the bottom of the list showing the points you started with, how many you spent, and what ypou have left.

To save the list, simply cut and paste it into a text file on your machine.

What if you want to make changes to your build?

To make changes, you can either click the "Reset" button to clear everything and start over, or just delete any lines in the text area which you want to do again.

If you add new items to the list, the summary area at the bottom will disppear.

You can then click the "Summarize" button again to re-summarize the list.

Sending the build to the referee:

To send the build to the referee, use the "Send" button at the bottom of the buying chart area. Fill in the referee's e-mail address, etc., and an appropriate subject line.

Then click the "Send" button.

A separate window will open up, showing that you have successfulyl used the "feedback.com" web service to send the e-mail.

I'm not really sure that this is any better than just copying the buy info into an e-mail of your own, but it is a rather cool service just the same.
